you all are very impatient you know.(you should know who i am talking about).haha.anyway here is part 2 of 3 series.From LV we took a drive down to grand canyon. We went past this place and its super beautiful.haha.Stopped, took a photo, went for the tour, threw our schedule totally out of the window.now for those that want a free drink, 2 free drinks are for grabs here. part 1 of a 3 part series

hey hey.well for those that do not know, i was on a trip like about 3 weeks ago.haha.its was a recce trip to the areas south of UTAH and came to 3 places and a long drive.haha.aniwae, first leg of the trip brought mi to the legendary city of LAS VEGAS.haha.was a nice and warm place and i just love the night lights. here are some photos of the place.

besides the nite scene, nothing much left at vegas unless you are into gambling or *ahem*.haha.so i feel lazy to upload anymore photos of vegas.haha.they all look somewhat alike.need to be there to actually see the beauty of the nite scene.=)

Chinese new year celebrations

k k.i admit it.i was pretty busy for quite awhile and the times i am free i am lazy.=).haha.anyway, company decided to throw us a chinese new year celebration at this place called soldier’s hollow. its quite a nice place.but not much to do there.the bus got lost.but the surrounding buildings are a beauty.was excited at first but once it started it wasn’t as blood rushing as i thot it was.the slopes is not steep enough.=)anyway here are the pictures.enjoy=)

food in utah….

hey all…guess u guys muz be having lunch as it is lunch time in singapore…aniwae here are some photos of food that i got from Utah….it’s some of the non chinese food…hope you guys enjoy the food pictures…=)

First on the list we have jumba juice….first mistake i made regarding food was this cup of jumba juice…took me 2 hours to finish it….boy was it a tedious drink….and before i had it, i was really thirsty…=P

Make a guess where this is from (will give the person who makes the first comment with the right answer a can of coke when i get back)haha…the dish on the left is not found in Singapore. its prime ribs….dun ask me where is the bone or why its so dry…..and those round things are bagadail(someone give me the right spelling for that too to earn 1 free drink….=P)

And that’s wats left on my plate after going for a brazillian buffet at somewhere in SLC….my goodness….it sure was a full meal….haha….but kinda ex….but worth it….it made me look like this after the meal….

haha….but it is satisfying…and yes i am still full from the meal….=)….haha….

And it was thanks to todays adventure at the food place that got me to blogging about food…haha….oh well….hope you guys have great meals back in sing too….=)….say hi to the dessert stall auntie for me…=)….nitez….

3 things that made my day…

Hey all, this is going to be a post without pictures.(too lazy to transfer pics from camera to mac)haha.but just got back from BYU, or rather Bringham Young University after a volleyball match there. Haiz…Sports in the US is just so different from sports in Singapore. Haha.It was exciting and all.From the mascot to the chants to the cheers, it was a memorable experience. Haiz.here is where i strongly encourage those who have not had a chance to try and study overseas for exchange or something just to see the difference.

Anyway, that  was the second thing that made my day.haha.the first is….

KRISPY KREME!!!!

haha.i had a free day today so decided to do sumthing productive(look for the nearest krispy kreme outlet) and it was on the way to BYU.so off i went. Brought me fren there and he did not believe me that it was good. went into the shop, had the sample and he (jaw drop) say it was good.haha.well, to have a comparision, it is like donut factory donuts, except it is softer. ahah. and much much much much betta.haha…to think that i once thought that donut factory is as good as krispy kreme. oh my. it definately is not…=P

and the final thing that made my day was to do with the mac… i had more mac accessories come in..haha..got my laptop case alreadi and it is beautiful. soft suede feel and all…mmmmmmhhhhmmmmm……haha…..BUT more importantly, i managed to get all the software to work properly, such as running Parallels and getting windows to run in it and getting all the network connections to work and all those stuff..haha..took mi a full 3 nites to get it all sorted out….(crashed me mac 2 times but i tink its due to the heat and maybe MSN.)..

well that is all for me at this point of time….its 2 am and its time for mi to go zzz….will see if i can get ani pictures up in the future..do not haf much time to blog as i was busy for the past past past few nites…so to all of u guys, haf a great weekend. And God bless

p.s. car battery died too at BYU.lucky fren has a set of jumper cables and a car. =)hope that i can update with pictures soon.=) nitez

hey hey…..macs are expensive ritez??so are laptops….so when u join an it company (or any company) and plan to get a laptop (or any thing), do the smart thing….check…..ur company may have what my company calls “employee extras”……let me tell you the story….

Not too long ago, in the state of Utah, a boy on company training arrived and desperately needed a laptop to get online. he decided to get a mac,  drove 20 miles to the nearest mac shop, paid some money, took the mac home, was really pleased (k k….not really pleased but satisfied) with it.

The next day,  his fren (at the company) showed him a website with these 2 magic words “employee extras” and lo and behold, another webpage with different pricing for me mac appeared. haiz. only consolation is that i got my mac instantly and the price difference was not as big as another friend of mine who got a dell. he could almost have a complete upgrade of his laptop.

To reiterate the point of the story, always check what employee extras ur company has before doing any big purchases. especially for electronics as most big companys got this kind of lobang.=)

k k…by popular demand, here is the blog that you people have been waiting for….

UTAH! its a nice place, love the weather. Been snowing the past few days on and off. Anyway, more about the place i am staying. here is a view of my bed.

its nice and cushy….queen size….the pillow is abit too soft….but other than that, its a sweet bed to sleep in…..other pics of the room is not going to be up so soon as its in an unviewable state….=)

The toilet is nice and complete. with bathtub and all.

The kitchen is complete.

And the dining room.(not a very clear picture)

And the living room.

So that brings an end to the photo tour of my apartment. Kinda nice place to stay in.
